About the Author
Dr. Dicken Weatherby is one of the world’s leading experts in Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis. He graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland Oregon in 1998. Blood tests beyond the reference range

Functional analysis of blood tests goes far beyond looking at reference ranges (which are commonly mistaken for optimal ranges.) However aspects of blood chemistry which are normal, compared with abnormalities in other aspects may lead to an understanding of impaired immunological or endocrine function. Weatherby clearly describes how to analyze blood chemistry and CBC tests in this book. If you deal with blood test analysis, read this book.

OUTSTANDING! TRULY A READ YOU WILL NOT FORGET!

As a reviewer I have become in tuned to the heartbeat of many authors. I can sense the excitement of the thrill in a suspense read, the fear in a murder read, the faith in a Christian read as they pen their words. A true writer does not write from the mind, but from the heart. That is what I found in this outstanding work by, Stoney Greywolf Bowers.

Poetry can be tricky to write and to read. The words of a poet tell a story, paint a picture, create an emotion within us, or they leave us dry and wanting. Within the pages of this wonderful collection, "Reflection from the Wilderness," author, Stoney Greywolf Bowers, breaths the very depth of his heart and life into the reader. Through his words the life of a cowboy, the life of the Native American, the life of the wilderness becomes a living force that awakens excitement of the reality of a special time in our world. A time that needs to be remembered, cherished, and honored.

All of the words within this book touched me in one way or another, everyone unique and brimming with words that will set your heart afire, and several touched my very Spirit. A Fighting Cheyenne Never Dies, left me with the words, forgive us. Colorado Wilderness, left me with a sense of pride at the beauty and majesty of our land, and Jake and The Snake, caused me to smile. However, Cowboy Ride, my favorite, brought tears to my eyes and a prayer that the cowboy never dies. Few works have stirred such emotions within me.

I believe to me, this collection voices the heart cry of our heritage. Part of America slowly disappearing that needs to be captured and remembered. It is the greatness of a nation, the fortitude of men, animals, land and the struggle to survive. This work is more than a collection of poetry, or one man's memories, it is a work of art and history. Truly a book that I am proud to give my highest recommendation to and urge you to read this book, enjoy it over and over again, and pass it down from generation to generation. A true keepsake. It is an honor to have read this book. I truly say thank you to our talented author.

Reflections from the Wilderness

I must admit that SCOTT BOWERS, aka: Stoney Greywolf is an excellent storyteller. He has poetic tones and knows how to weave great tales. Unfortunately, SCOTT BOWERS also with purpose has made a false claim of Native American ancestry.I know this for a fact because unfortunately, he is an uncle by blood but not by choice. In fact, his former publisher dropped him because he was unable to support that claim with documentation or proof. Hence this claim is in fact a lie. My grandparents always did say, "We don't know where he gets such ideas from and we wished Scott would learn to tell the truth". Because Scott is in the West and the majority of the family is in the East, he figured his claim would go unnoticed by family and no one in the West, including his former publisher would be none the wiser. Fortunately, Scott's past caught up with him and including this lie. I'm not taking anything away from his charitable works through the years with different groups and organizations nor his life out West. That he definitely has done. What his family dislikes are these delusional facts of his. In fact, when his former publisher whom, by the way is a very nice, considerate and professional person asked Scott for documentation and gave him ample time to produce, as I said, he was unable to do so and his lie caught up with him. Now,as a matter of record, I still retain these communications between the former publisher and myself. When I asked Scott and his publisher asked Scott which side of the family is his claim, he still could not answer. Why you ask? It is a lie. I have our genealogy on four sides without naming names on a public board. Scott has always been artistic and a great storyteller but, it's just that.
The reader needs to be aware that Scott's native American claim are false and very misleading.

About the Author
Chris (yes it s his real name) Summit, was born to climb. A Northern California native he started climbing and bouldering on the rocks around his home in Santa Rosa where he grew up and still lives today. Since then his natural desire has evolved into a passionate obsession changing his life forever for the better. In his 20 years of climbing Chris has wrote several guidebooks including Bay Area Bouldering by Supertopo and worked at most of the North Bay climbing gyms setting routes, belaying and teaching indoors and out. He has done first ascents of sport climbs, traditional climbs and many boulder problems all over Northern California. His appetite for new, high quality, unique and challenging rocks to climb used to drive him to travel far and wide. Now he travels less because he has found that what he is looking for is usually close to his front door.

Good overview of Bouldering in the region

My interest in this guidebook was mainly to get an overview of the best bouldering areas in the region, and not so much a detailed list of routes and grades. This book has been adequate for this and has led me to a few places that I otherwise might have missed on my travels through the region. This book does offer grades and a good list of routes for the areas, if that's what your interested in.

good resource and informative

This series is not necessarily designed to teach you how to draw but more so to help refine your skills. The tips and tricks wont make any sense or will be frustrating to the beginner, but to the advanced artist the tips are invaluable. I strongly recommend this entire series to anyone who wants to become a better comic book artist.

THIS IS JUST A RECIPE PAMPHLET!!!

I was so excited before I got this book..I had tried caviar a few times and loved it but was intimidated to order it in the few restaurants that serve it because I didnt know enough about it to even know the etiquette involved in eating it or the different types of caviar...I was hoping this book would do that for me and it DID'NT!!! I wanted to know more about the price range of caviars...I wanted a brief description of the domestic caviar and the authors opinion on what she liked... Maybe some inexpensive types to try and experiment with,and maybe a higher priced "splurge" caviar for a special occasion...I was hoping to get some on line sources for caviar..NOPE!!!well I dont know any more about caviar than I did before I wasted 11.00 for a recipe book that will fit in your shirt pocket...its TINY!!! no mention whatsoever of the caviar we see un refrigerated in grocery stores (black lumpfish.) I bet thats the only caviar 99% of us have ever tried!!! I was expecting more...the search continues....I was disappointed.

This is actually a VERY interesting book about caviar. It is far more than a "recipe pamphlet" as described by another reviewer. It literally has everything you need to know about caviar sources, serving, and storage. But, the real wonders of this book are the 101 incredibly creative recipes for serving caviar and incorporating it into your cooking. I could not be more pleased with this book and am slowly working my way through all of its superb recipes. This is a true "guidebook" to caviar.

I loved this book!

I loved this book! It reminded me of one of my favorite authors, Carl Hiaasen, with all of its wacky characters. The hero, Laddy Johnson, who may or may not be President Lyndon Johnson's love child,is a former stuntman in Hollywood who comes back to his hometown of Gasoline, Texas, where gas sells for 25 cents a gallon, to run for mayor. He runs up against the crooks already well established in the local government and the fun begins. Throw in Laddy's former girlfriend, the famous actress Joanna Wells and the twists and turns keep you reading non-stop. I finished this book in 2 days and felt like I lost some friends when it was all done. This would be a great addition to your favorite reader's Christmas list.

Tomatoes, peppers, dreams and recollections, mixed with soft illustrations, gives you a heartfelt read.

The truth of the matter is, within the very first paragraph, although quite simple, the pull to find out what was going to happen had already captured me:

"Erin jumped out of bed. She ran downstairs where her parents were eating breakfast. She couldn't wait to tell them about her garden dream."

Why was Erin so eager to describe this dream? Would this dream be achieved? How would her parents react? These and a few other questions popped in my head and I judged the author's capability to foresee questions she foreshadowed in her first paragraph and how they would come about in Vegetable Dreams. Dawn Jeffers did a superb job answering them and allowing me to reflect my own dreams and inspirations as Erin pursued her own.

The book breezes along at a quick pace, and the bilingual aspect is truly educational for all, with a vocabulary index at the back.

At times a book comes along with the notion it is only geared for children; yet in Vegetable Dreams, its message and inclusion of an adult man's own family reflections truly aim to please both, the young and old at heart. The artist, Claude Schneider, manages to bring the story to life using soft, chalk-like drawings, bringing Dawn Jeffers' treasure Vegetable Dreams close to a reader's heart.

I highly recommend this 32 page picture story book for all families to read and share.

An impressively written and illustrated tale of a multi-generational friendship
