About the Author
The author and principle investigator, CHARLES E. HANSEN formally started work on the Technology of Love Project in 1983. In prior years he worked as a systems analyst and economic consultant specializing in economic development and deployment of computerized systems and new technologies for industry and government agencies. While a graduate student at George Washington University, he also worked as a consultant to the University's Program for Policy Studies in Science and Technology studying how major new technologies are developed and deployed under a National Science foundation contract-grant. Later he headed up the Economic and Technology Development Division of International Business Services. He served as a consultant to President Reagan's Grace Commission on Cost Control (Defense). He currently continues research on this project as director of Corsense Institute-and also directs marketing for a tent manufacturing firm in Colorado. The author is a graduate of the University of Colorado where he studied engineering and business; he holds an MBA degree from Wright State University in Ohio. He studied at George Washington University in the doctoral program for Economics from 1971 to 1977. He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era.

A Professional Assesment of The Technology of Love

I am extremely impressed with "The Technology of Love" because it advances a new and unique way of defining the subject of Love. In this form it's a extremely powerful and practical way of understanding and applying the principals of Love to family, community, and business.
What's unique is that Love is now scientifically defined as 30 universal actionable human traits (10 positive, 10 neutral, and 10 negative) called vectors. As vectors they can then be mathematically manipulated in systems analysis forms. Extensive references to traditions, values, rules, principals, etc in areas of business, religion, geopolitics, law, religion, sociology, and warfare add clarity to the discussion. Well indexed, it becomes an excellent reference book.
Further broken down, Love as defined by Hansen can be optimized by such concepts as "Intent to Please", or as a process model like a "Boyd OODA Loop", or mathematically as energy, efficiency, entropy.
Based upon my engineering experience this book really breaks new scientific ground. As a result I now have expanded analytical skills needed to understanding issues in such diverse professional fields as: organizational successes/failures, sales/marketing, winning strategies and warfare, good vs bad government policy, etc. Now we have a better idea as to why Love has been so resilient and universal over time among the religions and cultures of the world.
For the scientific community the book contains the essencials for academic institutions to formulate follow-on funded research, to explore, and to analyze more complicated sociological human systems.
Truely an exceptional and comprehensive piece of research ready to yield results.

Profound new perspective on Love and Jesus' teachings

This book is a must read for anyone who has an interest in science and the teachings of Jesus. Mr. Hansen presents a remarkable and profound new perspective that intertwines science and mathematics with an in depth study of "love's vectors" or actions and the teachings of Jesus, breaking through the separation of religion and science once and for all! This technical and intellectual work would be appropriate for a college course, study group or educated readers.

An incredible must read -- This book has given us a huge business advantage

Knowing that Love is a defined science, and having learned about the vectors that cause Love to happen has made me feel like I have a ridiculously unfair advantage in achieving success as a self employed business owner. Sometimes I even feel bad for those who try and compete with us; as they don't really stand a chance without knowing our "secret."
But rather than keep this "secret" to ourselves, we used the vectors themselves as a guideline and chose to share how Love works with many people who would have been competitors. This caused something amazing to happen--instead of working against each other, businesses that may have competed in the past are now able to work together to help each other achieve more success than we would have been able to achieve on our own.
Like I said before: A ridiculously unfair advantage!
