At our house, we have his and hers copies of this superb book meant to satisfy the experienced equestrian, or a newcomer to the Rocky Mountain Horse breed. Historical photographs and folklore will take readers back in time depicting the origins of the Rocky Mountain Horse. I recently purchased a Rocky without knowing much about this breed. This book gave me the opportunity to know the history of the breed and the people involved in preserving this breed for our enjoyment today. I also loved all the pictures and had fun looking at my horses relatives. The colorful stories about the main people involved in the early history of the breed were also appreciated. Anyone who owns a rocky should have this book!
