The spiritual implications of "College Without Compromise" are missing in the second edition. There is a lot of information in this book and they have expanded your options. However, what sold me the first time I read it was the spiritual implications of sending your students to college after spending most of your life homeschooling them. That is missing and I wish I had my first edition back! It is a treasure!

Excellent book! Worth it's full price and then some.

This book might just completely change how you look at high school and what you choose to spend your money on. I highly recommend reading this book when your child is in 9th grade. There are ways that your high school classes can earn you college credits. This book addresses many non-traditional ways of earning college credits. It made me feel like a college education may be in our grasp after all. A lot of this information would be just as applicable to anyone who is seeking to get a college degree, not just a high school student preparing for college. I don't usually pay full price for anything. I did pay full price for this book, however, and I would have paid more.
